Front: Martha Allen, Katie and Jeff Allen. Back: Grandmother Billie Allen and Coach Ginger Colvin
During her senior season at Fort Thomas Highlands, Katie Allen wasn't
sure she wanted to play basketball anymore. But Campbellsville
University Lady Tiger Coach Ginger Colvin is glad Allen had a change of
heart.
"I just knew that once the season was over I wanted to continue to
play," said Allen on the day she signed scholarship papers with Colvin
and CU Assistant Miranda Denney.
"It's very rare to find someone as talented as she is and not be signed
yet," said Colvin. "She fits our style because of her versatility and
that will help her with playing time. We play a lot of people."

Kristi Ensminger and Jordan Cornett take a break to take a photo with a women they've met in Haiti.
This summer was supposed to be spent as a summer mission trip to the Dominican Republic
for Campbellsville University softball player Jordan Cornett and former women's
basketball player Kristi Ensminger. However when an earthquake measuring 7.0 on

Courtney Clifton with her dad, Jack Morgan
Lady Tiger Basketball Coach Ginger Colvin has added a D-1 transfer to
her 2010-11 roster. Courtney Clifton, a shooting guard who played her
high school ball at Lexington Christian Academy, signed scholarship
papers Thursday in the Powell Athletic Center.
The 5'11" sophomore-to-be was a spot player at Western Kentucky
University as a freshman. She played in 19 games for the 21-11 Lady
Hilltoppers, scoring 22 points in her first collegiate game - hitting 6
of nine 3-point shots. She averaged 13 minutes a game, averaging 4.1
points and 1.8 rebounds per game. Her field goal shooting suffered a
little in college, hitting 23 percent of her field goals, 27 percent
from the 3-point line, but 84 percent of her free throws.

Mr. and Miss Campbellsville Andre Tomaz and Kristi Ensminger
Kristi Ensminger, a 2009-2010 senior Lady Tiger basketball player, was named Miss Campbellsville at the end of the school year, an honor presented to a Campbellsville University graduating senior who best exemplifies the university's typical student - based on scholarship, leadership, character and potential for success.
Ensminger is the fourth Lady Tiger player to receive the honor over the years, joining other former CU women's basketball leaders Andrea Deaton, Jenny Norton and Miranda Ray Denney.
