Campbellsville University won the Mid-South Conference Cheerleading Championship Wednesday night for the third time in four years and CU's Vanessa Adkins was Coach of the Year for the second straight year.

It is the second straight title for the Tigers. Campbellsville also won the 2007 and 2009 titles.

The Mid-South Conference is the only league in the country that gives President's Cup points for cheerleading.

"This is the culmination of a lot of hard work," said coach Vanessa Adkins.

Adkins, who appears to have created a dynasty with the Tiger cheerleaders, says winning the first time is tough, but repeating is even tougher.
