
First-year cross country head coach Hilary Cebullko
signed her first recruit Wednesday, inking Maggie Mattingly of John Hardin High
School in Elizabethtown, Ky.
Mattingly ran her personal record during her junior
season, 2008, with a time of 18:46.40 at the Lincoln Trail Heartland Conference
meet. That time marks her as one of the fastest recruits CU has signed in
recent years. She ranks No. 2 among Kentucky high school seniors this season.

Campbellsville University has named cross country graduate assistant Hilary Cebulko as the new head coach of the men's and women's programs, effective Jan. 4. CU athletic director Rusty Hollingsworth made the announcement Dec. 15.
Cebulko will take over for Scott Hortness, who will return his full-time focus to his assistant coach position with baseball. She will also serve as distance coach for outdoor track and field.

Two Campbellsville University runners
ran personal best times Saturday as the Lady Tigers finished 11th of
19 in the National Christian College Athletic Association Women's Cross Country
Championship in Cedarville, Ohio.
Dorjpalam Khurelbaatar was fourth for CU
and 85th overall as she hit her best time of 22:05 and Kasey Vitkus
bested at 23:22.


The Campbellsville University Lady Tigers cross country team fought though muddy terrain as it placed 13th at the Southeast Classic on Saturday in Louisville. With the University of the Cumberlands finishing ahead of them, the Lady Tigers edged other conference teams Lindsey Wilson and Georgetown College.
