COLUMBIA, Ky. – Campbellsville University men's and women's swimming each finished in fifth place as a team Friday and Saturday at the Lindsey Wilson College Fall Frenzy.
CU's women qualified for the NAIA National Championships in four relays and one individual event during the two-day event.
CAMPBELLSVILLE, Ky. – Campbellsville University women's swimming swept Bethel University and St. Catharine to open its 2014-15 season Saturday in Powell Athletic Center. The Tiger men's team fell short in a dual against Bethel, 87-58, in their season opener.
The Lady Tigers beat Bethel, 119-67, and St. Catharine, 145-36, in the double dual. Bethel beat St. Catharine, 93-56.
CAMPBELLSVILLE, Ky. – For the first time since 2000, Campbellsville University men's and women's swimming will have a chance to compete for a conference championship in 2014-15. Mid-South Conference Commissioner Eric Ward announced last week the addition of swimming to its MSC championship lineup in 2014-15.
FRANKFORT, Ky. — Men's swimming has its first signee for the 2014-15 class when Austin Tucker committed to coach Casey Smith.
OKLAHOMA CITY, Okla. – For the last five years, Campbellsville University has used the slogan "More Than a Game." The NAIA recognized that in two of CU's 25 sports teams on March 5, awarding both the CU women's and men's swimming programs as the Buffalo Funds NAIA Champions of Character Team Award for their respective sport. CU sophomore Shelby Mattingly was also recognized as CU's individual Champion of Character.
The team award is nominated for by each school and presented annually to one team from each of the NAIA's 23 championship sports.
