
CAMPBELLSVILLE, Ky. -- Campbellsville University Tiger Wrestling welcomed to campus a dozen of its alumni and a couple of new signees Saturday night for the program's inaugural Alumni Social and Spring Scuffle.
The event, originally scheduled to be outdoors on Citizens Bank Field at Finley Stadium was moved inside Gosser Gym due to rain.

CAMPBELLSVILLE, Ky. -- For the first time in program history and in the state of Kentucky, amateur wrestling fans will have a chance to watch the sport outdoors in a collegeiate football stadium. Campbellsville Unviersity men's wrestling will host its inaugural Spring Scuffle on Saturday, April 27 under the lights at Citizens Bank Field and Finley Stadium. Admission is free.

CAMPBELLSVILLE, Ky. -- Campbellsville University men's wrestling coach Franky James announced the first wave of recruits for 2013-14 on Wednesday, adding nine names to a growing roster for the program's 10th anniversary season.

LOUISVILLE, Ky. -- Campbellsville University's Shawn McGhee was named the Mid-South Conference Wrestling Freshman of the Year this past week after finishing the 2012-2013 season as an NAIA All-American. The award was selected by coaches' vote across the MSC.
McGhee, a native of Steubenville, Ohio, finished the season with a 20-9 record and placed fourth at the NAIA Championships for 149 pounds.

DES MOINES, Iowa – Saturday night marked the end of an era for five members of the Campbellsville University wrestling program. It also opened my eyes for the first time in my professional career to the experience of knowing what it is like to graduate a group of seniors after four years.
Josh Ashbrook, Jarvis Elam, Allen Scruggs and Conor Young each have now attended their final wrestling tournament as a collegiate student-athlete. So has four-year manager Brittany Lask.
