DANVILLE, Ky. – Two school records fell Friday as Campbellsville University finished sixth at the Centre College Twilight meet.
Demytreus Gipson broke the school record in the 200-meter dash with a first-place time of 22.03, beating his record set the previous Friday in Knoxville, Tenn. Aaron Johnson set the school record in the hammer throw with a distance of 33.12 meters.
COLUMBIA, Ky. – Campbellsville University placed third at the Lindsey Wilson College Invitational on Saturday, March 29, but was only 13 points behind first-place LWC. The Tigers collected 91 team points with 10 individuals placing to earn team points. LWC won the meet with 104 points and Georgetown College was second with 98 points.
ATLANTA, Ga. – Demytreus Gipson and I-Rell Patterson scored all 15 points for Campbellsville University Saturday as the Tigers' men's track and field finished 18th of 23 teams in its outdoor opener at the Emory University Invitational.
MUNFORDVILLE, Ky. – Coach Hilary Lakes has been on the recruiting trail all summer for Campbellsville University track & field. And on Aug. 27, she reeled in her first signee for the 2014-15 seasons when Forrest Ferguson signed a National Letter of Intent at Hart County High School.
DANVILLE, Ky. – Campbellsville University men's track and field placed fifth at the Centre College Invitational on Saturday, finishing third among Mid-South Conference members.
