HECTOR URBANEJA (Pronounced Er-ban-ae-ha) QUICK FACTS: One of the hottest bats coming down the stretch in 2007, Hector Urbaneja should see ample playing time, either in the middle of the infield, or could even see time in a DH role.  Bats from the left side, and throws from the right.
 
AS A JUNIOR IN 2007: Proved to be a spark plug in the Tigers lineup ... In 49 games played (40 starts), Urbaneja finished the season with the third highest batting average on the team with a .341 mark ... Added 10 doubles, 2 triples, and 2 homeruns ... Was also 9 for 12 in stolen base attempts.
 
AS A SOPHOMORE IN 2006: Finished hitting .283 in 49 games played ... Had 12 doubles and a triple on the year ... Saw most of his action at shortstop, finishing with a .949 fielding percentage ... 1st team All-Conference selection.
