AS A JUNIOR IN 2007: Appeared in 13 games, making 11 starts ... Finished the year with a deceptive 7-4 record, as he put together a 2.17 ERA ... Pitched 70.2 innings, and opponents hit just .206 off of him ... Threw 7 complete games, three of them coming in the way of a shutout ... Season highlight came on March 16th against Georgetown, where Carlile threw his first career no-hitter, and he faced the minimum number of hitters ... Was a 1st team All-Conference selection.

 

AS A SOPHOMORE IN 2006: Appeared in 13 games, making 12 starts ... Finished with a 5-4 record and a 4.01 ERA ... Struck out 51 batters, and walked just 12 in 60.2 innings pitched ... Recieved 1st team All-Conference honors and 1st team All-Region honors ... Slam! magazine reffered to Carlile in 2006 as Canada's best left handed pitcher.

 

AS A FRESHMAN IN 2005: Had an excellent freshman year, making 15 appearances, (13 starts) ... Finished the year with a record of 9-3 and a 2.63 ERA ... In 78.2 innings pitched, Carlile struck out 70 opposing hitters, and walked just 12 ... Opposing batters managed to hit just .197 off him ... Earned 1st team All-Conference, All-Region, and All-American honors.

 

SUMMER BASEBALL: Carlile represented the Tigers as a member of the 2007 North Woods League Champions, the Thunder Bay Border Cats with teammates Temple Macdonald and Chris Curley... Was named to the leagues all-star team and pitched on ESPN in the all-star game.

 

IN HIGH SCHOOL: Prepped at Three Oaks High School in Canada ... Was his high school's Athlete of the year as a sophomore, junior, and senior ... In 2004, played for the Canadian National Team.

 

MLB DRAFT: Was taken in the 2004 Major League Baseball Draft by the New York Mets ... Did not sign.
