Keith Adkins
Head Coach
Coach Keith Adkins is starting his eighth season at the helm of the Campbellsville University Tigers.  The past two seasons rank as two of the most successful in the history of the Tiger program with 27-6 and 27-7 records, including a Mid-South Conference Tournament Championship in 2006 and first round wins in the NAIA National Tournament both years.
 
Prior to taking the head coaching job at Campbellsville, Adkins spent six years as a college assistant at Campbellsville, UNC Greensboro and Pikeville. Coach Adkins has recruited and developed twelve players who have played professional basketball. During his tenure at Campbellsville, nine Tiger players have earned All Mid-South Conference honors and two players have earned NAIA All-American accolades.
 
Adkins is a native of Paintsville, Kentucky, where he played in three state tournaments as a backcourt player. In 1987 he helped lead his Paintsville team to a final four appearance. In 1988 Adkins was a member of the Kentucky All-Star team and a first-team All State selection.
 
Coach Adkins was named Kentucky Male Athlete-of-the-Year in 1988 for his performances in both basketball and baseball at Paintsville High School.
 
Adkins played his first two seasons of college basketball at the University of Notre Dame, including a second round berth in the 1989 NCAA Tournament. After two seasons in South Bend, Adkins transferred to the University of North Carolina at Wilmington, where he was a two-year starter averaging 11 points per game as a senior. Adkins ranked second in the nation in free throw percentage as a junior and still holds numerous Seahawk team records.
 

Adkins is a graduate of UNC-Wilmington (1994) with a BA in Physical Education. Adkins and his wife, Vanessa, have three children: Ashley, 14, Bradley, 13, and Sarah, 3.
