John Rausch returns for his third season as the head coach of the Campbellsville University men's and women's bowling programs. He also works within the university's special projects department.
Rausch helped start the bowling programs from scratch in 2009, fielding a varsity team for both programs. Each season, the program has hosted a home tournament at Phillips Lanes called the Green River Classic. In 2010-11, the Lady Tigers posted two Top 10 finishes in tournament play during the regular season and advanced to the program's first United States Bowling Congress (USBC) Team Sectional Qualifying Tournament.
Prior to Campbellsville, Rausch served 12 years as minister of music and youth at Reynoldsburg Baptist Church in Reynoldsburg, Ohio. He also spent five years at First Baptist Church in Grove City, Ohio and five years at White Level Baptist Church in North Carolina. Prior to being called into the ministry, Raush was a service technician for Ohio Bell Telephone Company for 15 years.
He is a 1989 graduate of Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary where he received an MDIV and also a graduate of Franklin University where he received a BS in Business Administration.
He and his wife Lynn have been married 39 years and have two grown children and three grandchildren. They reside in Campbellsville.
