Six Tigers earn Daktronics-NAIA Men’s Golf Scholar-Athlete honors

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Pierce Dahl, Tyler Harrod, Justin Riffle, Seito Miyazaki, Andrew Scalos and Halen Stamper all garnered Daktronics-NAIA Men's Golf Student-Athlete accolades, the national office announced on Thursday afternoon.
 
In order to be nominated by an institution's head coach or sports information director, a student-athlete must maintain a minimum grade point average of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale and must have attended the institution for two full years as a non-transfer or one full year as a transfer.
 
Dahl, Harrod and Riffle all captured the award for the second-straight season, while Miyazaki, Scalos and Stamper earned the national honor for the first time in the their careers.
 
A total of 180 men's golf student-athletes were named the 2018 Daktronics Men's Golf Scholar-Athlete team, where Midland University led the nation with eight award recipients.
 
This season, Campbellsville placed fifth at Mid-South Conference Championship a month ago.
