Land earns First-Team honors; Lawrence named women's bowling Coach of the Year

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – Crystal Land was the lone individual for Campbellsville to earn First Team All Mid-South Conference honors and head coach Jamie Lawrence was named the women's bowling Mid-South Conference Coach of the Year at Thursday's banquet.

In addition, Katlyn Hoeh and Kylah Martin earned second team honors on the women's side.

The first and second team honors were awarded based on regular season averages in MSC events, where each bowler needed to compete in at least 14 individual games.

Lawrence led Campbellsville to a third-place finish in the conference standings this season and its record of 32-8 places the Tigers as the third seed in the conference tournament. Lawrence earns his second-straight coach of the year award after he was named co-coach of the year last season.

In her 10 regular-season events, Land has won two events and finished in the top five on five different occasions. The senior has recorded an average of 197.1 over 58 games this season.
