Goodin, Scantland and Hyatt earn NAIA Scholar-Athlete honors

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) announced Thursday that 174 women's golf student-athletes have been named 2017 Daktronics-NAIA Women's Golf Scholar-Athletes.

Campbellsville University women's golf has three Lady Tigers on the list – Ashley Goodin, Anna-Marie Hyatt and Cassidy Scantland.

In order to be nominated by an institution's sports information director, a student-athlete must maintain a minimum grade point average of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale and must have achieved junior academic status.

The Lady Tigers just finished competing in the NAIA Women's Golf Championship for the first time in program history. CU missed the 36-hole cut after finishing in 20th place.
