In order to be nominated by an institution's sports information director, a student-athlete must maintain a minimum grade point average of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale and must have achieved a junior academic status.
The Lady Tigers finished the season by making their first-ever NAIA Team Championship appearance since the new format was formed in 2001. CU finished with a record of 12-12 and ranked No. 20 in the NAIA Coaches' Top 25 Poll.
