Boik earns NAIA Women's Tennis Scholar-Athlete honors

KANSAS CITY, Mo. — The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics announced the women's tennis scholar-athlete awards and Campbellsville's Elizabeth Boik earned the honor.

In order to be nominated by an institution's sports information director, a student-athlete must maintain a minimum grade point average of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale and must have achieved a junior academic status.

The Lady Tigers finished the season by making their first-ever NAIA Team Championship appearance since the new format was formed in 2001. CU finished with a record of 12-12 and ranked No. 20 in the NAIA Coaches' Top 25 Poll.
