KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Julianna Bradley and Abby Wicke both garnered Daktronics-NAIA Women's Cross Country Scholar-Athlete honors, the national office released on Friday night.
In order to be nominated by an institution's head coach or sports information director, a student-athlete must maintain a minimum grade point average of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale and must have achieved a junior academic status to qualify for this honor.
This is the third time in as many seasons that Wicke has been selected as a Daktronics-NAIA Scholar-Athlete, while Bradley earns the national recognition for the first time in her career.
Bradley and Wicke were Academic All Mid-South Conference honorees and NCCAA Scholar-Athletes this season.
In total, 351 women's cross country student-athletes from across the NAIA captured Daktronics-NAIA Scholar-Athlete accolades.
Campbellsville wrapped up its season last week at the NCCAA National Championships in Jackson, Mississippi.
