PIKEVILLE, Ky. — Campbellsville cheer was denied its fifth Mid-South Conference championship today in the UPike Gymnasium on the campus of the University of Pikeville, as the host school won its second straight title.
Campbellsville was judged runner-up in the five-school competition by a panel of four judges.

All Girl Stunt Champion — Campbellsville, first,

Coed Stunt Champion — Campbellsville, first,
Kasandra Richerson and
David Veramontes.
Academic All-Conference — Forty-one cheerleaders made all confgerence and Campbellsville led the league in honors with 10. Those making the team, included:

In order to be nominated by an institution, a student-athlete must maintain a minimum grade point average of 3.25 on a 4.0 scale and must have achieved at least sophomore academic status.
