KANSAS CITY, Mo. — The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) announced 450 men's and women's outdoor track and field student-athletes were named 2014-15 Daktronics-NAIA Scholar-Athletes.
Campbellsville University has nine students be named scholar-athlete. In order to be nominated by an institution's sports information director, a student-athlete must maintain a minimum grade point average of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale and must have achieved a junior academic status.
On the men's side, Luke Camp, Dylan Ford, Wade Harris, Aaron Johnson and Brett Pierce were named scholar-athlete. For the Lady Tigers, Mallory Vest, Sarah Johnson, Jennifer Hatley and Khadijah Gray picked up the honor.
Campbellsville has now had 90 student-athletes be named scholar-athletes in 2014-15. Baseball and softball are yet to be announced by the national office.
