CHARLOTTE, N.C. — The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) announced Friday that 420 men's and women's cross country student-athletes have been named 2015 Daktronics-NAIA Scholar-Athletes.
In order to be nominated by an institution's sports information director, a student-athlete must maintain a minimum grade point average of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale and must have achieved a junior academic status to qualify for this honor.
Campbellsville had two Lady Tigers and three Tigers on the list –
Brandi Thomas and
Mallory Vest represented the women.
Luke Camp,
Dylan Ford and
Wade Harris represented the men.
These five individuals are the first NAIA Scholar-Athletes recognized for the 2015-16 year.
