Softball has four named Daktronics-NAIA Scholar-Athletes

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Campbellsville softball had four players named as 2016 Daktronics-NAIA Softball Scholar-Athletes, the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) announced today.

Lady Tigers joining the list of 397 softball student-athletes receiving the honor, were: Victoria Decker, senior, Leitchfield, Ky.; Shelby Ray, senior, Glasgow, Ky.; Brittany Rippy, sophomore, Scottsville, Ky.; and Brianna Scott, sophomore, Summersville, Ky.

In order to be nominated by an institution's sports information director, a student-athlete must maintain a minimum grade point average of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale and must have achieved junior academic status.
