GREENEVILLE, Tenn. - Four Campbellsville University women's golf student-athletes have been named National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics 2012 Daktronics-NAIA Scholar-Athlete, the NAIA announced today.


In all, eight Mid-South Conference women's golfers were named to the team.

Lady Tigers named were: McLane Farr, Lindsay Harris, Jordan Johnson and Katie White.

"I'm very proud of their commitment to making excellence a habit on and off the course," said Campbellsville's coach, Lindsey Hines.

Campbellsville University led the MSC schools with four scholar athletes. Georgetown College had a pair and University of the Cumberlands and Lindsey Wilson College each had one to join the 105 women to earn the honor.

Campbellsville not only led the MSC, but tied with William Woods University with the most in the NAIA this season.

The honor is reserved for juniors and seniors with at least a 3.5 grade point average on a 4.0 scale.

Others honored from the Mid-South included: Cumberlands' McKinzie Price; Georgetown's Lauren Kohake and Marlene Nall; and Lindsey Wilson's Kelsey Joslyn.
