COLUMBUS, Ga. – The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) has announced that seven Lady Tiger softball players have been honored as 2013 Daktronics-NAIA Scholar-Athletes.

Making the team from Campbellsville, are: Brooke Boils, a junior infielder from Albany, Ky.; Heather Oakley, a junior infielder from Lexington, Ky.; Emma Napier, a senior infielder from Scottsville, Ky.; Kacie Vincent, a senior outfielder from Louisville, Ky.; Leslie Hastings, a senior pitcher from Orient, Ohio; Martina Riney, a junior pitcher from Owensboro, Ky.; and Taylor Wroe, a junior pitcher from Hawesville, Ky.

In order to be nominated by an institution's head coach or sports information director, a student-athlete must maintain a minimum grade point average of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale and must have achieved a junior academic status.
