Men's golf leads NAIA with eight scholar-athletes

DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. – The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) has announced Thursday that 165 men's golf student-athletes have been named 2015 Daktronics-NAIA Scholar-Athletes.

Campbellsville University led the nation with eight selections on the list.

John Eastridge, Wade Cave, Jared Fannin, Cody Goodwin, Tanner Hall, Justin Hazel, Michael Newton and Matthew Razor were named scholar-athletes for CU.

In order to be nominated by an institution's sports information director, a student-athlete must maintain a minimum grade point average of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale and must have achieved a junior academic status.
