Derek joined Campbellsville University in July 2002 as Assistant Athletic Trainer. He was promoted to Head Athletic Trainer in July 2004. Prior to joining the Tiger Athletic Training Team, Derek served as Assistant Athletic Trainer (2001 - 2002) at Central Arizona College in Coolidge, AZ. He served as Graduate Assistant Athletic Trainer, in 2002, with the Milwaukee Brewers Professional Baseball Club during Spring Training and the Arizona Rookie League Baseball Season. He has completed an internship in Athletic Training with the Quad City Mallards Professional Hockey Club, an affiliate of the Washington Capitals of the NHL. He has also been employed as a personal fitness trainer for Heartland Personal Trainers in Moline, IL.

Derek received his Bachelor of Arts degree in biology, with minors in aports medicine and psychology, from Augustana (IL) College (2000) and his Master of Science degree in sports health care from the AT Still University in Mesa, AZ (2002). He completed a Master of business administration from Campbellsville University in 2009.
 
He resides in Campbellsville with his wife Samantha and daughter Adelynn.

Scott Baughman joined the Campbellsville University athletic training staff as a graduate assistant trainer in 2004 and remained on staff as a full-time member after earning his Master's in business administration from CU in 2006.

A native of Maryesther, Fla., graduated from the University of West Florida in 2003 with a Bachelor of Science in health, leisure and exercise science/sports medicine-athletic training. During his time at West Florida, he served as a student assistant athletic trainer for the UWF baseball program. He also worked with high schools in the Pensacola, Fla., area and the Pensacola Power of the National Women's Football League.

His primary sports at Campbellsville are women's soccer and baseball.


   

Jeanetta Ford

Jeanetta Ford joined the Campbellsville University athletic training staff in the fall of 2011. Prior to CU, she served as a graduate assistant at Troy University in Alabama as she completed her Master of Science degree in sport and fitness management.

During her time at Troy, she served as primary athletic trainer for the rodeo program, as well as assisting with other sports. She worked to coordinate sickle cell testing for athletes and also served as an athletic trainer PRN for area high schools through Champion Sports Medicine Outreach and various camp opportunities.

Prior to her graduate position at Troy, Ford volunteered with a competitive softball team in East Asia for the summer of 2009. During her time as an undergraduate student at Franklin College, she played softbal and served as a student athletic trainer for volleyball, women's basketball, football and men's basketball. Ford earned a Bachelor of Arts in athletic training from Franklin in 2009 with a minor in fitness and coaching. She is a member of the National Athletic Trainers Association and other athletic training professional organizations.

Tracy Lott

Tracy Lott joined the Campbellsville University athletic training staff as its third full-time assistant in 2008.

Originally from Lambert, Miss., Lott did her undergraduate work at Missouri Valley College in Marshall, Mo., where she received a Bachelor of Science in exercise science. Upon graduating in 2004, she moved to Flagstaff, Ariz., where she attended Phoenix Therapeutic Massage College and received a healthcare technician degree in 2005. She did her graduate work at the University of Arkansas, where she worked with the softball and football programs, as well as served Springdale High School. She received a M.S. in athletic training in 2008 from Arkansas.

Her primary sports at CU are football and women's basketball.

James Nichols joined the Campbellsville University athletic training staff as a assistant athletic trainer in 2004. A native of Winstead, Conn., Nichols received his Bachelor of Science from Castelton State College in 2003. During his time at Castelton, he served as captain of the rugby team, helping the squad to two appearances in the New England Regional Tournament.

In 2004, Nichols received his Master's of Science from Ohio University. While in Ohio, he worked with Gallia Academy High School in Gallipolis, Ohio. He also served two years as a volunteer for the Empire State Games in New York.

His primary sports at CU are volleyball, wrestling and spring football.
