Ginger Colvin
Head Coach
Ginger High Colvin enters her third season as head coach of the Campbellsville University Lady Tigers. In 2008-09, she was named the Mid-South Conference Coach of the Year after leading the Lady Tigers to a 26-7 record, Mid-South Regular Season Championship and the first NAIA National Tournament appearance since 2005. Colvin took over the program in 2007-08, narrowly missing the NAIA National Tournament with a 19-13 record. Her two year tenure has produced 45 wins and 20 losses. Her team's highest NAIA national ranking during a season is No. 9 and highest final NAIA national rank is No. 13.

Though she has been at the helm of the Lady Tigers for only three seasons, Colvin has been a part of the Lady Tigers' history for more than two decades. Her initial investment began in 1986 as a player. During her playing career at Campbellsville, Colvin was a Third Team All-American and the KIAC Player of the Year in 1990. The Topkinsville, Ky., native still holds the NAIA and CU record for assists in a game, season and career and is one of only three Lady Tiger players to be named as an All-Conference selection for four consecutive seasons. She is also member of the Lady Tiger 1,000 point club and the Campbellsville University Athletics Hall of Fame.

Upon completion of her playing career, Colvin's love for Campbellsville University and passion for the game prompted her to begin her coaching career under the direction of NAIA Hall of Fame Head Coach Donna Wise. She served as graduate assistant in 1990 and a part-time assistant from 1991-2003. In 2003, she became the full-time assistant and was the logical choice to inherit the program when Wise retired in 2007.

In 1997 she took over the reigns of a struggling Campbellsville High School Lady Eagle program. Colvin's turnaround of the Lady Eagles was nothing short of remarkable. In seven seasons she produced five winning records, including three 20-plus win seasons and three 5th Region All-A Championships. One team adavnced to the Elite 8 of the Class A State Classic. She also led Campbellsville High to it's first two 20th District Titles in school history and had one 5th Region Runner-up team, all the while continuing as a part-time assistant at Campbellsville University.

Colvin resides in Campbellsville with her husband, Robert, and son, Kobe.

Miranda Denney
Assistant Coach

After one year as a graduate assistant, Miranda Denney begins her second year as a full-time assistant coach. A former player for the Lady Tigers, Miranda has worked herself into the coaching ranks. She is a graduate of Campbellsville University with a major in mathematics.

Miranda enjoyed a successful high school career at Somerset High School where she was a member of a 12th region championship team, and also was a member of a Class A State Championship team.

Ironically, Miranda was first recruited after competing against Coach Colvin's Campbellsville High School team in the Class A State Tournament.

Stepping into a Lady Tiger uniform, Miranda played at both the point guard and shooting guard positions. She was a member of two regular season Mid-South Conference championship teams and one MSC tournament championship team. She was the starting point guard of an Elite 8 team that was knocked out of the Final Four by eventual national champions, Southern Nazarene.

Miranda competed in the National Tournament all four years at CU. "Hootie" (as she is known) was a gritty, hard-working player who always drew the toughest defensive assignment in the guard spot. She's just as gritty in the coaches' office.

She competed at the highest level every time she stepped onto the floor. She is still at the top of the charts in the FT percentage category, as she was a single season leader from the charity stripe, shooting 88 percent her junior year. Miranda was named honorable mention All-Conference in her senior season. She also earned All-Conference and All-American academic honors.

Aside from basketball, Miranda made her mark on Campbellsville University. While being a full-time athlete, she managed to earn Valedictorian honors as well as be chosen as Ms. Campbellsville her senior season. Well-respected by her professors, peers, and players, "Hootie" is a major plus to this program.

Juliana Brown Image
Juliana Brown
Grad Assistant
Juliana Brown steps into the role of graduate assistant after completing a successful career on the hardwood for the Lady Tigers last season.

On the court, Brown was known for her ability to shoot and score with the basketball. As a freshman, "Ju" burst onto the collegiate scene and made an immediate impact, averaging 7.8 points per game from the guard position. She followed her breakout season with an even more impressive sophomore campaign, averaging 9.5 points per game.

While her athletic contributions to the Lady Tiger program are unquestioned, Juliana may be remember more for her contributions off the floor. She is a person of great faith who leads by example. Her contributions to the community and personal integrity earned her the right to be named an NAIA Champion of Character in 2009. A great athlete, a great student and a great person - Juliana Brown has much to offer the Lady Tiger program.

Michael Hartman Image
Michael Hartman
Manager
Michael Hartman is in his third year as team manager for the Lady Tigers.

With a lifetime of experience wrapped into 13 years behind the high school and college basketball scenes, Hartman brings with him more than just water bottles and a towel. He is just as adept at keeping shot and/or game clock and keeps an impeccable scorebook when pressed into service for the storied Lady Tiger basketball program.

When not helping out during a game, Hartman likes to challenge Lady Tiger players to a game of one-on-one and teach them how to hit a half-court shot, or "five-ball" as he calls it.

The Barbourville, Ky., native, joined the program in 2007 after a long run at Knox Central High School.

Hartman is a two-time Lady Tigers Manager of the Year.

"No one keeps a shot clock better than the manager of the CU Lady Tigers," says Hartman with just a tinge of humility.
