Head Coach
Joe Stockton has been named the new men's and women's track and field coach at Campbellsville University.
Stockton is a graduate of Western Kentucky University where he was a three-time NCAA Division IAA All-American football player and joined the CU staff this past winter as an assistant football coach.   He was also an outstanding track athlete in high school.
Campbellsville sent three athletes to the National Track and Field Championships in 2007 and all three are returning for next season.
Stockton won a total of 9 Kentucky State Track Championships in the long jump, triple jump, 110 HH and 300 LH.  He held the state record in the 300 LH for over a decade.  He was a member of North Hardin High School's first ever State Championship track team in 1992 and also won state honors as the Male Athlete of the Year and Mr. Track and Field in 1994. 
In 2009 he will be honored by North Hardin High School's Track and Field program as their annual invitational track meet will be named the Joseph Stockton Invitational

Fawnda Cox
Assistant Coach

A 1989 graduate of Murray State University, Fawnda M. Cox was a member of the Lady Racer Track Team, she competed collegiately in shot put, discus, and javelin. With a degree in mathematics, Cox has taught high school and college mathematics for 18 years and is currently serving as the Principal of West Point Independent Schools. In 1993 she was named KY Coach of the year for her coaching successes to include: basketball, softball, track & field, and soccer. She is looking forward to working with the throwers this year.

George Eskridge brings a wealth of championship experience to Campbellsville University Track and Field.

He coached high school track for 9 years under Kentucky Hall of Fame coaches Mike McCoy and James Holman at Louisville Eastern High school and Louisville  Male High school.  During that time, he coached the long and triple jumpers, and under his tutledge he had over 25 state qualifiers, 11 top 3 finishers and the Kentucky Girl's AAA Long Jump record holder.

Eskridge ran high school track for Fort Knox and was on the '84, '85, and '86 championship teams.  He was a member of the 4X100 relay that set and currently holds the state record for Class AA.  He was also a state finalist in the 110 HH and the long jump.  Eskridge went on to letter in track at the University of Louisville.
