Campbellsville University has hired a new tennis coach. Former player Kyle Caven will lead the Tiger and Lady Tiger tennis teams. Caven, a 2006 graduate of Campbellsville University, played for the Tigers for four seasons.
He has been an instructor at the UCLA Tennis Camp in 2006 and has spent the past couple of years teaching tennis privately. A 2002 graduate of Larue County High School, Caven had a successful high school tennis career during three seasons for the Hawks.
"I plan to build our program to the level where it can consistently compete for the Mid-South Conference titles in both men's and women's tennis," said Caven. "We will recruit hard to increase our roster size and we'll push very hard to get good players from this area," he added.
Caven will also manage the Tuggle-Morris Wellness Center which is located in the Powell Athletic Center.
