Head Coach
Shannon Wathen is in her 10th season as head coach for the Lady Tiger softball program at Campbellsville University.

Wathen, a 1999 graduate of Campbellsville, was a two-time NAIA All-American and two-time Kodak All-American for the Lady Tiger women's basketball program. She ended her playing career in the Top 10 in numerous CU stat categories, including 1,365 points, 690 rebounds, 600 assists, 275 steals and 59 blocks.

She began her coaching career as a women's basketball graduate assistant. She decided to return to Campbellsville University in 2000 as a Lady Tiger assistant basketball coach under former Hall of Fame Coach Donna Wise.

In 2002, she took over as head coach of the Lady Tiger softball program. During her nine years as head coach she has an overall record of 302-165-1.

In 2005 the Lady Tigers notched their first of three straight Mid-South Conference regular season championships. CU won the MSC regular season again in 2009 and also won the Mid-South Conference tournament in 2005, 2006 and 2008. Her teams have been to the tournament finals in seven of her none seasons.

During Wathen's tenure, she has been named MSC Coach of the Year four times (2005, 2006, 2007 and 2009). Three of her players have been named MSC Player of the Year four times and two others have been named MSC Pitcher of the Year a combined three times.

Bryce White returns for his fourth season with the Campbellsville University softball program and third as the Lady Tigers' full-time assistant coach. White served as a graduate assistant for CU in 2009.

A native of Tekonsha, Mich., White played two years of baseball at Kellogg Community College in Battle Creek, Mich., and one year at Olivet College in Olivet, Mich., before finishing his playing career at Campbellsville. He graduated from CU in 2008 with a degree in physical education with a minor in coaching.

Kim Dunlap Borders is in her third season as an assistant softball coach at Campbellsville University, working primarily with pitchers. Borders is the owner and pitching instructor at BSA Softball Academy in Scottsville, Ky.

During her playing days, Borders was a four-time high school All-American while leading Ezell Harding Christian School in Nashville, Tenn., to four state championships. She also led her summer team to the ASA 18 National Championship in 1997. In College, she was a two-time All-Region selection at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette, while helping the Ragin' Cajuns to four straight NCAA regional appearances. She was named the Sunbelt Conference Pitcher of the Year in 2000 and was a National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) Scholar-Athlete.

Following her collegiate career, she returned to Club K, where she formerly trained 10 years under Cheri Kempf. She instructed and trained hundreds of pitchers over a five-year span before starting BSA.

Borders is currently pursuing her Master's degree at Campbellsville University. She resides in Scottsville, Ky., with her husband, Spencer, and their three daughters, Taylor, Savannah and Hadley.
