Adam Preston returns for his ningth season as the Tiger soccer coach and is coming off the most wins in program history, having posted a 19-6 record in 2010.
Preston began his coaching career with two years as an assistant coach at Campbellsville High School before joining the Campbellsville University staff in 2003. He has twice been named the Mid-South Conference Coach of the Year (2006, 2008) and has carried the Tigers to two national tournaments in the National Christian Colelge Athletic Association (NCCAA).
In 2008, the Tiger posted a then-program best record of 17-7 and finished fourth in the NCCAA National Tournament. The Tigers topped that record in 2010 with a 19-6 finish and were fifth in the NCCAA National Tournament.
A native of Paducah, Ky., Preston is a graduate of Paducah Tilghman High School. He earned a B.S. in marketing/management from Campbellsville University in 2003 and a Master's in Business Administration from CU in 2007.
He played collegiately at Campbellsville where he was a four-year starter and two-time team captain. During his career, he received All-Mid South Conference Team honors as a Second Team selection and honorable mention. He was also an Acadmeic All-Conference selction.
He and his wife Brittany have one daughter, Avery Ellen Preson, who was born in the spring of 2011.
