Campbellsville University's men's and women's basketball teams will gather in the Winters Dining Hall on Wednesday, March 10 from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m. to watch the NAIA Division I basketball selection shows live with the student body. The NAIA men's and women's tournament brackets will be announced on two shows by College Fanz Sports Network. They will be streamed live online at CollegeFanz.com and also televised in Campbellsville on Comcast channel 10 via WLCU-TV4.

The men's show is scheduled to begin at 4:30 p.m. to unveil the bracket for the NAIA Division I Women's Basketball Championship. A show announcing the men's bracket will follow at 5 p.m.

CU students, faculty and staff are encouraged to gather in the Winters Dining Hall at 4:30 to watch both shows with the Tigers and Lady Tigers. The show will also be aired at the Hardwood Cafe, located in the Davenport Student Center.

Both Campbellsville teams are guaranteed an at-large bid to the national tournament for finishing in the Top 10 in the final regular season poll. Wednesday's show is to determine their seeding in the tournament.

"We are excited to bring the live announcements of the outstanding teams competing in all four NAIA basketball championship tournaments to College Fanz, and provide students, alumni and fanz around the world with coverage of this truly unique and historic college basketball national championship tourney," said BIll Rasmussen, founding partner and Chief Executive Officer of College Fanz. "The NAIA boasts the oldest basketball tournament in the country, starting in 1937, and the caliber of play is outstanding."

College Fanz is the exclusive "first source" for the announcement of the NAIA tournament brackets, which include the Buffalo Funds-NAIA Division I Men's Basketball National Championship, the Division I Women's Basketball National Championship, the Division II Men's Basketball National Championship and the State Farm-NAIA Division II Women's Basketball National Championship.

"NAIA tournament basketball selections have never been televised before and these two live broadcasts will showcase the 128 men's and women's teams that will compete in this year's event.," said Jason Dannelly, a veteran NAIA sports commentator and Director of College Relations for College Fanz.

The post-season selection show is not a new idea to College Fanz as history was made last fall with the announcement of the NAIA football championship series. Viewers came in droves to find out who was going to make the postseason football championship and to see the College Fanz announcers offer expert analysis of the teams.

Starting this past fall, College Fanz broadcast the inaugural seasons of the "College Fanz NAIA Football Game of the Week" and the "College Fanz NAIA Basketball Game of the Week." Campbellsville University was featured on the Oct. 1, 2009 broadcast of the Game of the Week at Shorter College. The Tigers won big, 42-28, over the No. 10 Shorter Hawks.
