CU swimmers who have qualified for nationals
When coach Lindsay Hines and her Water Tigers leave for St. Peters, Mo. on Tuesday and the national swim meet, she'll have three individuals swimming in five events and five relay teams qualified.
"I do anticipate a couple of our relays to make top 16 in the nation and move on to compete in the finals," said Hines. "The girls have worked really hard this year and I expect to see some of our best times from some of them, not only in the individual events, but also in their relay splits."
Hines' confidence is boosted by the fact that the Rec-Plex at nationals
is a very fast pool and the atmosphere there "will give the girls an
extra boost of adrenaline."
