Montgomery, WV - Campbellsville's Lady Tigers built a 41-37 halftime lead and never looked back in defeating WV Tech 74-65 today in Montgomery, WV.

 

Four players scored in double digits for the Lady Tigers, who now improve to 18-12 and with a 4-6 MSC record will be the 4th seed in next weekend's Mid-South Conference Tournament at Pikeville.

Courtney Danis (FR/Mt. Sterling, KY) and Kristi Ensminger (SO) both scored 13 for Campbellsville while Priscila Alves (SR/Sao Paulo, Brazil) and Melly Heaton (FR/Princeton, KY) both had 11 points in the win.

 

Campbellsville will face the Lady Golden Bears again in a week as WV Tech earns the 5th seed in the MSC Tournament.  The two teams will play at 10:00 a.m. eastern time on Saturday, March 8th in Pikeville.
