Campbellsville University sophomore wrestler Tommy Pretty climbed four spots in the recent NAIA rankings to top the 133-pound division. Pretty completes the fall semester with only two loses on the season and none to NAIA opponents. CU remains No. 11 in the team rankings with 40 points.

Pretty finished second at the Ohio Northern University Invitational in early December. His loss in the final was the first since losing at NCAA Division I school Liberty University on Nov. 7. He carries a 14-2 record into the spring semester when the Tigers resume action Jan. 2.

Joining Pretty are teammates James Linker, Spencer Adams and Nick Waldrop. Linker, a senior from Louisville, Ky., fell one spot to No. 8 in the 165-pound division but remains fourth in the East Region. Adams, a sophomore from Marion, Ohio, rose one spot to third overall in the NAIA at 184 pounds and leads the East Region. Waldrop, a freshman from Oakley, Calif., is ranked for the first time this season, receiving four points at No. 12 in the 149-pound division.

CU will start 2010 wrestling at the Midwest Classic Jan 2-3 in Indianapolis.
