Geovanni Popoca finished one second out of the Top 15 and just shy of being an All-American in the National Christian College Athletic Association Cross Country Championship. His time of 26:51 was 17^th overall and led Campbellsville University to a 10^th place finish out of 23 teams.

Popoca was followed by the same runners who followed him at Cerritos College in California the previous two years, as Qualaun Reed was 68^th with a time of 29:06, Armando Pina ran 29:18 for 76^th place and Dashan Craft was 79^th with a time of 29:25.

Wes Colvin ran a time of 30:35 and Matt Oliver cross the finish at 34:44

Malone College repeated as the NCCAA champion, placing its top four runners in the Top 10. Evan Thayer of host school Cedarville University won the individual title with a time of 25:31.

The race concludes Campbellsville's season, as Popoca prepares to race in the NAIA National Championship in Vancouver Nov. 21.
