Campbellsville University baseball will host a winter pitching showcase Dec. 5 in the Coca-Cola Indoor Facility on campus, beginning at 12:30 p.m.

The showcase will give aspiring college pitchers and catchers the chance to evaluated by the Campbellsville University coaching staff, as well as other college coaches in the area.

The showcase will also provice an opportunity for players and their family to visit the CU campus, located in Central Kentucky, approximately an hour and a half driving distance of Louisville, Lexington and Bowling Green.

Players should arrive at the facility by 12:30 p.m. to check in and prepare for the showcase. The cost for pitchers to participate will be $20. There will be no cost for catchers.

Other four-year colleges that will be in attendance are: Lindsey Wilson College, Columbia, Ky.; Georgetown College, Georgetown, Ky.; University of the Cumberlands, Williamsburg, Ky.; Spalding University, Louisville, Ky.; Indiana University-Southeast, New Albany, Ind.; Brescia College, Owensboro, Ky.; Cumberland University, Lebanon, Tenn.; Trevecca Nazarene University, Nashville, Tenn.; Mid-Continent University, Mayfield, Ky.; Centre College, Danville, Ky.; St. Catharine College, Springfield, Ky.; Pikeville College, Pikeville, Ky.; West Virginia Tech, Montgomery, W.V.; and University of Rio Grande University, Rio Grande, Ohio.
