Campbellsville University finished 23rd of 24 teams in the S.I. Elite Classic Sunday, hosted by McKendree College. CU's team score was 6,308.
Christina D'Ordine led CU with an average score of 156.222. She finished 79th among 142 bowlers in the nine-game tournament. Her high of 179 came in her third game of the weekend.
Deborah Dean of Maryland was second for CU with a high of 172 in her eighth game and a 146.556 average. Lauren Nolte followed with a 143.33 average and 180 high in her seventh game. Rachel Moran averaged 132 for CU, while Jackie Hildebrand averaged 126.375. Kristen Price only bowled two games for CU, scoring 95 in the third game and 131 in the fifth.
Jessica Baker of Wichita State's A-Team won the individual competition with a 205.1 average, maxing out at 246 in her second game. Wichita's C-Team won the team competition with 8,970 points.
Wichita had three teams in the competition, Pikeville College had three, McKendree College had six and Lindenwood had four. Campbellsville was one of eight other schools in the tournament, finishing above Baker University.
CU will continue its inaugural season with a trip to the Raider Classic at Poelking Woodman Lanes in Kettering, Ohio on Nov. 14-15.
