Campbellsville University sits 14th of 17 teams in the men's golf Chick-fil-A Collegiate Invite in Rome, Ga.
Josh Ratterman and David Lee shared identical scores on the first day for the Tigers, shooting 38 on the front nine and 35 on the back to sit tied in 29th place with a score of 73. The pair are four strokes off the lead with numerous golfers tied with a 68.
Following Ratterman and Lee for the Tigers was Cory Prewitt, who shot a 75, while Logan Griffin shot 80 and Scott Foster shot 82.
Campbellsville's 301 team score is 20 strokes behind tournament leader, the University of the Cumberlands, which has three of its four golfers shooting under par. William Carey University is four strokes behind Cumberlands in second place, while Thomas University is one stroke behind WCU.
The Chick-fil-A Collegiate Invite continues Tuesday.
