Pikeville, Kentucky - Freshman Courtney Danis scored a career high 38 points today in leading the Campbellsville University Lady Tigers to an 87-71 Mid-South Conference road win at Pikeville College.

The Mount Sterling, Kentucky native tallied the 38 points behind 14 of 21 shooting overall, 5 of 7 from the three point line and was 5 of 5 from the free throw line.  She also grabbed seven rebounds as the Lady Tigers picked up their first MSC win of the season.
Campbellsville led 46-36 at the intermission, and Danis came out in the second half to score seven straight points as the Lady Tigers put the game out of reach early in the second frame and were never seriously challenged from that point forward.

The Lady Tigers forced the Lady Bears into 25 turnovers in the game.   Campbellsville is now 14-9 and improves to 1-2 in the Mid-South Conference.  The Lady Tigers travel to the University of the Cumberlands on Thursday evening for a 6:00 p.m. tip-off against the Lady Patriots.
