CAMPBELLSVILLE, Ky. - The Lady Tigers are pleased to announce the commitment of two student-athletes to the 2009 team, according to an announcement by Randy LeBleu, volleyball coach.Caroline MartinCaroline Martin, is a 5'9 setter, who is transferring from Northwest College in Wyoming. She is from Curitiba, Brazil.

At Northwest, she played in 139 games, with 1,257 assists and averaged 4.71 digs per game. "Carol is an athletic setter, who shows the qualities of a leader on the court. We are excited to have her control our offense," LeBleu said.

Christiana Sindelar, is a 5'10 middle hitter, who is transferring from Bluffton University in Ohio.  She played her high school volleyball at Napoleon High School in Napoleon, Ohio.

At Bluffton, she played in 106 games, with 190 kills and averaged 0.58 blocks per game. "Christiana is definitely a great addition to our front court. She is very athletic, and makes us even  deeper in the middle position," LeBleu said.

The Lady Tigers' season opens on the road at the Malone College Invitational in Canton, Ohio, Aug. 28-29. The home opener is Sept.14 against Cumberland University at 7 p.m. in Powell Athletic Center.
