Three Campbellsville University tennis players have been honored following a good showing in the recent National Christian College Athletic Association tournament in Marion, Ind.

Campbellsville, coming off a 10-4 regular season, reached the semi-finals of the NCCAA tournament, where the team lost to Olivet Nazarene 5-2. Olivet went on to win the national title.

In the first round of pool play, CU lost to North Greenville 5-2, but rebounded to win its next two matches against Bethel (Ind.) and Indiana Wesleyan by identical 5-2 scores.

Award winners included:

Luis Morett and Pablo Numbela, first team All-American singles; Gustavo Valecillos, second team All-American singles; and Morett and Numbela, first team All-American doubles.
