Campbellsville University's Outdoor Track & Field team made a good showing at the Hanover College (Ind.) Invitational this past weekend.
"These men and women had to fight through some tough weather conditions Saturday," said Head Coach Joe Stockton. "Despite rain and high winds, many runners, jumpers and throwers improved in their times and distances."
The men's Outdoor Track & Field team finished 7th of 11 overall.
Detrick Briggs, a junior from Louisville, Ky., won the long jump and finished second in the triple jump. Sean Thompson, a freshman from Killeen, Texas, finished second in the high jump.
