Campbellsville, Kentucky

The Campbellsville University Tiger Baseball team is off to a hot start to say the least.  They are now sitting with an overall record of 15-2 and they are a perfect 4-0 in MSC play.  In the four game series against Georgetown, the Tigers consistently found themselves in tight pitching duels and as a pitching staff, they had a 0.50 ERA on the weekend.  A major contributor to this was Ian Pick, who dominated in his outing against Georgetown, earning him Conference Pitcher of the Week honors.
In his outing against Georgetown, Pick had a record setting day for the Tigers.  Not only did he toss a complete game shutout, he only needed 68 pitches to do so.  On top of that, Pick scattered just three hits and no Georgetown player ever reached second base.  On the day, Pick punched out four opposing hitters and did not even have a three ball count to any hitter.

With the outing, Pick moved to 2-0 on the season, and his ERA is still 0.00.  The Tigers were 6-0 last week and are 2-0 already this week.  They will travel to Williamsburg this weekend to take on rival University of the Cumberlands this weekend in a four game series.
