Campbellsville fell behind from the start. CU lost two of the three doubles matches to put the Lady Tigers in a hole from which they would not recover.
Coach Kyle Caven talked about the match: "We lost to a solid team today, all credit to them for playing some energetic doubles. We unfortunately came out flat and never really got our flow going."
He went on to talk about the play of juniors Megan Charity and Jenna Sallee. "Megan played with a lot of fight today as well as Jenna, they did great to close it out. We will pick it back up this week and improve our effort to close out our season on a positive swing."
Coach Caven spoke on the Senior Day, saying, "I am happy to have had these two seniors in my program, they have meant a lot to me."
The Tigers will look to bounce back as they take on conference opponent Cumberland University (RV) in Lebanon, Tenn. on Tuesday, April 15, at 3 p.m.
