CAMPBELLSVILLE, Ky. -- National Christian College Athletic Association (NCCAA) postseason action will begin Friday for Campbellsville University women's soccer. The Lady Tigers will travel to Trevecca Nazarene University in Nashville, Tenn., this weekend for the NCCAA Mid-East Region Tournament.


Campbellsville, ranked No. 10 in the NCCAA national Top 10 poll, will face Asbury University in the Mid-East semifinal Friday at 7 p.m. EDT. Trevecca Nazarene, the No. 1 seed in the region tournament, will play Covenant College at 4 p.m. EDT. The winners will meet Saturday at 4 p.m. EDT for the region championship and a chance to earn an automatic bid to the NCCAA Women's Soccer Division I National Tournament in Kissimmee, Fla., Dec. 1-3.

Covenant College started the Mid-East Region Tournament on Friday, Nov. 11 with an 8-0 victory over Tennessee Temple.

Trevecca earned home-field advantage and the No. 1 seed in the region tournament after beating Campbellsville, 3-2, in the regular season finale Nov. 1.
