Lebanon, Tennessee -  Campbellsville University has battled home standing Cumberland University to a 5-5 tie through eight innings, but tonight's game has been called due to darkness.   The suspended game will be resumed on Thursday morning at 9:00 a.m. central time.

Both teams put two runs on the board in the sixth inning to make the score 2-2, and Campbellsville, as the home team, tacked on three runs in the bottom of the seventh.  Nathan Quesenberry hit a solo home run after the Tigers had picked up two outs to start the Tiger rally.    Chris Curley then walked and advanced to second on a wild pitch .  Temple MacDonald was intentionally walked to give the Tigers runners on first and second.    Both players advanced a base on a passed ball. Logan Smith then hit a double and scored Curley and MacDonald to put Campbellsville up 5-2 after 7 innings.
In the top of the eighth, Cumberland battled back to tie the score at 5 with the help of 1 Campbellsville error and the game was then postponed due to darkness.

All games are being played in Lebanon, Tennessee.   Should Campbellsville win tomorrow's 9:00 a.m. suspended game, the Tigers would face Martin Methodist, the #6 seed who has also had a magical run through the tournament.  That game is scheduled to start forty-five minutes after the conclusion of the Campbellsville-Cumberland game.
