Georgetown, KY - Campbellsville came out firing in the first inning, when senior Temple Macdonald hit a three-run homer to take and keep the lead in the Tigers' 6-2 win over Georgetown in the Mid-South Conference Baseball Tournament on Saturday.

The game was a rematch of yesterday's marathon that took 16 innings before Georgetown emerged with an 8-6 win but Saturday was different.

Campbellsville's homerun parade continued with Jason Beale's solo homerun in the seventh and two-run homer in the ninth.

Georgetown sent in reliever Kyle Lucal to help starter Steven Mavroles in the seventh inning and committed no errors on the night but couldn't stop the offensive run of their conference rival.

Campbellsville's Marc Wilson got the win after facing 18 batters and giving up five of Georgetown's seven hits on the night.  However, Georgetown left seven runners on base and couldn't capitalize when needed.

The Tigers will now face the University of the Cumberlands who defeated Georgetown 11-2 on Sunday.  The game will be played at Tiger Field on the C.U. Campus at 3:00 p.m.
