Bardstown, KY - The Campbellsville University Lady Tigers finished second in the annual Campbellsville University Spring Invitational Golf Tournament played at Maywood Golf Club. Following a course closure due to continued rain on Friday, the results from the first round of play will be the final standings.
Campbellsville shot a team score of 356 to finish in second place behind Lindsey Wilson College with a team score of 336. The tournament had a two hour delay getting started due to heavy rain and most players played the first nine holes in a downpour.
Lindsey Wilson's Beth Cooper won was the individual medalist with a 79 and was the only player to score under 80 on the rain soaked course. Campbellsville was led by Kaela Smith who shot an 85 and finished tied for fourth.
