Campbellsville University freshman Jamie Allen was named the Mid-South Conference Offensive Player of the Week for men's soccer Monday after scoring half of the Tigers' goals over the weekend.
Allen, a forward from Leicester, England, scored three of the Tigers' six goals in a pair of 3-1 victories in the NAIA Showcase at the University of St. Francis (Ind.).
He scored the game winner in an upset of No. 23 Indiana Institute of Technology on Friday and two goals Saturday against St. Francis. The goals bring his three-game season total to six after he opened the year Aug. 27 with a hat trick against Freed-Hardeman University to earn NCCAA Player of the Week honors.

weekly conference award for defense went to University of the Cumberlands sophomore goalkeeper Dennis
Kramer of Germany. Kramer
recorded six saves in a 1-1 tie against No. 9-ranked Southern
Polytechnic State (Ga.) University to earn the fourth MSC Defensive Player of the
Week award of his career.
Campbellsville (3-0) returns to action Wednesday, Sept. 8, against Berea (Ky.) College for an 8 p.m. ET start at Campbellsville's Finley Stadium.
The next men's soccer players of the week are scheduled to be announced on Monday, Sept. 13.
