After the first day of the annual President's Cup match, Lindsey Wilson College leads Campbellsville in the Ryder Cup style match, 3-2.

Quinn Cole led Campbellsville with a 72 Saturday, while Trey Shirley shot a 74 and Tanner Mobley shot 76. The rest of the Tigers' team players are Cory Prewitt (78) and Logan Griffin (79).

Lindsey Wilson's Antonio Arriola led all golfers with 68 points.

"Overall it was a solid round. I got to see some of my freshmen perform and some of my returners play really well. I'd like to see what tomorrow brings as it's a different aspect to a Ryder Cup style match. Today as a team they had to make shots to try to go up in the match and try to win that match. Tomorrow they will have to play their ball as an individual tournament setting," CU men's golf coach Kenny Lawson.
