Campbellsville University volleyball added a sixth recruit to join six returnees for the 2010 season.

Coach Amy Eckenfels signed Audrey Sanders as a defensive specialist/libero after Sanders spent a lot of her time in high school as an outside hitter.

She is extremely athletic with a no-quit attitude," said Eckenfels. "She may be as competitive-natured as any player we've ever had."

Sanders, from Pickerington, Ohio, played her high school ball for the Pickerington North Panthers, a team that finished the 2009 season at 23-4. The Panther program has been ranked in the Ohio Division 1 top 10 for the past three years and the Panthers won their first District Championship in 2009.

Sanders stood as the team's captain her senior year, was an All League and All Central District selection her junior and senior seasons and All Ohio in 2009. She set a school record for single-season aces. Sanders had a 99 percent passing avarege, 93 percent on digs and averaged 3.53 digs per game

When  Sanders gets to campus, she will join six returnees from a 38-13 NCCAA national title team and five other recruits: Lexis Lloyd, a 5'7" libero from Jensen Beach, Fla.; Monica Chernichan, 6'0" outside hitter from Winnipeg, Canada; Genevieve Collette, 5'10" right-side-hitter from Winnipeg; and Kelly Moyer, 5'10" middle blocker from Oldham (Ky.) County High School; and Giselle Hernandez, 5'10" outside hitter from Bogota, Columbia.
