Campbellsville University Softball Coach Shannon Wathen signed one more 2010-11 recruit, making Natalie Duncan the 12th player to ink with the Tigers.

Duncan played for Warren (Ky.) East High where she was a varsity starter since the seventh grade. She compiled four first-team All-4th Region honors and was on the second team in 2008, all as a catcher/first baseman. She was second team All-State as a catcher in 2008 and 2009.

But Duncan isn't all about softball as she participated in Beta Club her final three years of high school.

Duncan is listed among the state record holders for career home runs (24), single-season homers and home runs in consecutive games. She holds the Warren East career record for taters, hits, RBIs, runs scored and total bases.

She is second at WEHS in career doubles and she hit .392 last season and led her team in hits, homers, triples, doubles, RBIs and total bases.

Duncan has played travel ball for three years with the TN Xplosion Gold, playing first base, catcher and centerfield.

She also played basketball at Warren East for two seasons where she earned awards for highest field goal percentage and most blocks.

She will be joined on campus this fall by Becca Cook of Taylor (Ky.) County, Anderson (Ky.) County's Courtney Turpin and Brooke Collins, Heather Oakley of Lexington (Ky.) Lafayette, Taylor Wroe of Hancock (Ky.) County, Clinton (Ky.) County's Brooke Boils, Owensboro (Ky.) Catholic's Martina Riney, Muhlenberg (Ky.) County's Hannah Reynolds, Rachel Hatfield of Harrison (Ky.) County, and Meade (Ky.) County's Mallory Wathen.
